History: Founded in 1950 by the Women’s Club of Kenova, the Ceredo-Kenova library was the first library in Wayne County. It moved to its present location in 1984. Branch libraries were established in Wayne in 1963 and in Fort Gay 10 years later. Today, the library system serves nearly 43,000 residents in Wayne County.
